We Care About Your Child
As a parent we know you don’t always have time to figure out what’s what with child care before you come to worship or attend an event. We want to provide as much information on this page about the whens and wheres of child care at Cokesbury, as well as policies and procedures we follow that are overseen by the United Methodist Church in Florida.
If there is any information you need, please call our office at 954-972-3424. Our regular office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm, excluding most holidays.
Nursery Provided
For regular services and events held at Cokesbury, the nursery is located in the Courtyard, Room 8.
Sunday Services
Little ones age 4 and under are welcome to the nursery at 9:15am-12:15pm. We ask that you please help us comply with our child and youth protection policy by signing your child in and out of the nursery.
Wednesday Night Small Group Bible Studies
The nursery is available at 6:50 till just after our small group meetings on Wednesdays.
Special Events
Whenever we have a special event we strive to meet the needs of parents with young children. We invite you to call the office if you are unsure of nursery availability for any special service or event.
We always want to meet the needs of parents with young children. If you need nursery assistance for any regular events, please ask us. We will provide trained and background checked servants for any service, small group, or event you wish to attend at Cokesbury.
Child and Youth Protection Policy
We require that all persons working with minors under the age of 18 undergo a background check and attend a training class on a regular basis. A copy of our Child and Youth Protection Policy can be obtained from the church office.
