Current Small Groups
Small groups at Cokesbury are designed for spiritual growth through fellowship and Bible study. Small groups have been the cornerstone of how Christian communities grow stronger in their faith since the days of Jesus. Your small group can be a source for learning how to apply faith to everyday life.
We offer groups for those who want to become Christians, for new Christians, and groups for every stage of the journey. And we are always looking for ways to expand our groups. These are the current classes we offer:
Adult Sunday School, 9:30-10:30am on Sundays
This groups is for men and women of all ages and meets in the Library, next to the office.
Ladies Small Group, 10:00-11:30am every 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
For senior ladies or any women home during the day. This group meets twice a month in the Library on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
Wednesday Prayer Group, 6:30-7:15pm on Wednesdays
All are welcome to attend this time of prayer for the specific needs of the congregation, as well as other prayers for the community and world. Group meets in the Sanctuary.
Men's Small Group, 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesdays
For men of any age, this group gathers to discuss relevant scripture (it all is) and current topics in the church, community, and world. The men meet just inside the entrance to the office, in the reception area.
Women's Small Group, 6:59-8:41pm on Wednesdays
For all women this group discusses and enjoys study materials that focus on Biblical teaching and everyday life. The women meet in the Library.
